“Elegant and immediately appealing, the wine shows white flesh peach, lemon/lime zest, crunchy apple and white floral aromas on the nose. The palate displays brilliant focus and persistency, wonderfully enhanced by a whisper of sweetness and bright acidity. Beautifully styled and expressed" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2020

“Full of youthful impact, this single-vineyard wine was hand-harvested at Bendigo. Bright, light lemon/green, it is scented and vibrantly fruity, with very good intensity of ripe, peachy, limey flavours and a crisp, off-dry, lingering finish” Michael Cooper, Winestate Magazine, Jul 2020

“Made from grapes grown on the China Terrace vineyard in Bendigo subregion. Moderately intense riesling with lime, white flowers and a saline, oyster-shell influence. Off-dry with a moderately drying finish” Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Sep 2020

“Juicy, fleshy, plush and ripe fruited bouquet. Lifted aromatics of white peach and sweet red apple, quite floral with white blossoms and a touch of rose. There is a core of minerality suggesting pebbles or wet stone along with a mineral water note. On the palate – fruit flavours reflect the bouquet with a very fleshy texture and juicy red apple, pear, sweet lemon and flowers. A seam of minerality and just dry with a suggestion of a little residual sweetness before the acidity commands the texture and offers contrast. Balanced, drinking beautifully today and through 2025+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Nov 2020

“Bright, pale yellow with a very light lime hue, even colour throughout. The bouquet is soft and refined, nuances of green apple, lime and zest with a subtle hint of white florals, honeycomb, and penetrating flinty mineral nuances. Medium-light bodied, off-dryish to taste, the palate is refined with pleasant green apple, lime and zest, underlying powdery white pepper notes. Delicate white florals and a hint of honey entwined with minerals. The wine flows on a fine phenolic thread along with flinty minerals providing a good drive with refreshing acidity. The palate is refined and balance, showing purity and ripeness of fruit, lending a round and lingering finish. This is a refined Riesling with flavours of green apple and lime, subtle florals and honey on a mineral flow. Match with salt and pepper calamari and German Bratwurst over the next 3-4 years" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, Sep 2020

A complex nose of lime juice, grapefruit zest and burnt orange peel, with a lift of cherry blossom. The citrus laden palate is medium bodied with notable mid-palate intensity and a persistent zesty finish. Wonderfully balanced around the apt acidity, the wine has a charming touch of sweetness that is immediately transformed into a long, dry finish.

The 2018 harvest was the hottest on record overall with November and January breaking records for heat and an unusual amount of days over 30 degrees Celsius in summer. February was the wettest on record which helped in a positive way to slow down the onset of harvest although it was still a month early and very compact. Grapes were harvested on average 3-4 weeks earlier than normal.

These Riesling grapes come from a single vineyard located on a prestigious terrace in Bendigo. The Riesling grapes were hand harvested on the 27th March 2018. The fruit was whole bunch pressed and cool fermented in stainless steel in order to retain aromatic freshness. The fermentation was stopped at optimal balance which in this particular vintage was slightly off-dry.

This wine shows the fruitful honesty of young vines but equally has enough serious stature to continue to shine for 7+ years from release.

Subpar everything
Format: Hardcover
I read almost all the new Batman comics that come out...I haven't been this disappointed in a book in a LOOOOONG time. So boring. Bad art. Bad dialogue. Superficial/basic characters. No emotion. Half-baked Elseworlds universe (if you going to make some changes - make it worth it!). I could go on. When it got to the "big twist" at the end, my eyes rolled so hard I got a headache. I wish I didn't waste my money on this.

Better than the Chronicles
Format: Paperback
I hope DC keeps on publishing these omnibus series up to the silver age and also the softcover option. I much prefer these new softcover editions over the older chronicles series for several reasons. These STGA softcovers are very big almost twice the stories compared to the chronicles and at a very affordable price. Actually a very good price. Also the paper is one hundred times better, I hated the chronicles' paper. Amazon is wonderful too, they now deliver my comics to my house in Costa Rica in less than a couple of weeks, they always arrive before the scheduled time. Excellent service. The only thing to complain is the reproduction. I consider that Marvel makes better efforts than DC to restore their GA stuff. The Cory Sedlemeier books like the Marvel Comics Golden Age omnibus look like they were drawn this morning. DC is usually quite cheaper and prefers not invest in that. So we get the same results as the old early 2000s Archives. I know today it is impossible to get original art pages of action comics 1-10 But I still think that compared to Marvel DC is very lazy and a skintflint when it comes to restoring their old books.

Got it for my college class, it was a required text.
Format: Paperback
Got this book for one my college class, no joke this was a required text. But overall it was an okay read, only reason why I gave it a 4 out 5 is because I prefer to read books for enjoyment and interest, reading a book for class takes that away.
