When Udesky becomes separated and runs into the jungle, he encounters more raptors who attack him. They use his crippled body as a trap to lure Billy and the Kirbys down from the tree where they are hiding. After the trap fails, one of the raptors kills Udesky by snapping his neck before departing in response to a call from another member of the pack.

Created in collaboration with ECC key artist Oskar Ankarudd—who faithfully recreated the original model at full scale—the paint master was also hand-painted by Ankarudd himself.
