Super Nintendo Capacitor Replacement ServiceThis is a system capacitor replacement service for any North American Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This service does not include the external power adapter. The original electrolytic capacitors in your console are aging. This preventative maintenance addresses a major failure point by replacing them with new solid state parts that will never leak, promoting long term performance. This is a system capacitor replacement service for any North American Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This service does not include the external power adapter.
The original electrolytic capacitors in your console are aging. This preventative maintenance addresses a major failure point by replacing them with new solid-state parts that will never leak, promoting long-term performance.
Please note: This service can resolve capacitor-related issues but does not fix other potential problems like failing CPUs or bad video RAM.
We use two types of modern capacitors for our service:
Smaller Caps: Replaced with ceramic capacitors for longevity. They will never leak.
Larger Caps: Replaced with solid polymer capacitors. They will also never leak.
This hybrid approach gives you a complete, no-leak solution that's matched to your console's specific performance needs. Capacitors shown in product image are purely for illustrative purposes and may not match.
We aim to finish all services within 5-7 business days of us receiving your items. During busy times for us, you might expect it to take up to 2 weeks for completion. Transit times not included.

In your package, please include a piece of paper with your order number. This should be in your order confirmation email. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY CABLES/ACCESSORIES/ETC. We just need the system/controller.
If you are ordering other services from us, you are welcome to ship them in the same package to us. If you order other items in the same checkout as a repair service, those items will not ship until the service(s) are complete.
Repair Terms & Disclaimers:
We do a basic functionality check before service. If your item doesn't power on or perform its core function, we won't proceed—unless the service is meant to fix that issue.
If we find minor problems, we'll contact you. No reply within 24 hours? We'll move forward with the original service at our discretion.
For any system or controller that we do not proceed with service on, we will issue a full refund minus a $10 bench fee. Please test your items before sending them to avoid this.
After service, we re-test functionality. If anything we touched isn't working, we'll fix it.
All services come with a 100-day warranty on the parts and work we did. Damage, wear, or unrelated issues aren't covered.
