We have since devoted a small block at our Heathcote vineyard in Central Victoria to growing this premium red grape: one of the finest and more innovative varietals we make at Brown Brothers. The Limited Release Montepulciano is enigmatic and generous in fruit, with moderate acidity and a full-bodied palate. Drink now, or cellar for 3-5 years.

Food Pairings

The Limited Release Montepulciano goes well with a wide array of traditional Italian dishes such as tomato-based pastas and spicy pizza. Or why not try it with a smoked lamb cutlets and roasted Mediterranean vegetables. It is also a fantastic combination with lighter washed rind cheeses.

The suit has a beautiful, rich burgundy color — truly eye‑catching and elegant. Unfortunately, the fit was a major issue. I recommend sizing up at least one size, especially if you have fuller thighs or glutes. The pants were very tight in the thigh and buttocks area, the vest didn’t cover the lower hip area, and the jacket sleeves ran short with a tight fit in the shoulders. Overall, the small felt more like a youth small rather than an adult small. Our set also did not include the pocket square as advertised, though it did come with a white dress shirt and a mini black tie with a matching pocket square. The material itself felt okay — not bad, but not great. We really wanted to love this suit because the color is gorgeous, but due to the sizing inconsistencies and missing item, we couldn’t keep it.
