3 CD Set - UK Import

• A NEW 3CD CLAMSHELL BOXED SET FEATURING ALL OF THE BBC CONCERT AND SESSION RECORDINGS BY HAWKWIND BETWEEN 1985 – 1995

• NEWLY REMASTERED FROM THE BBC MASTER TAPES, WITH 16 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED TRACKS AND AN ILLUSTRATED BOOKLET

Three CD clamshell boxed set ‘Dreamworkers of Time – The BBC Recordings 1985-1995’ features all of Hawkwind’s live recordings and sessions made by the BBC between 1985 and 1995.

One of the most legendary British bands who emerged at the dawn of 1970s. Formed in Notting Hill, London in 1969 and always helmed by their visionary leader Dave Brock, Hawkwind bridged the genres of psychedelic rock, hard rock and art rock to create a sound of their own.

Over their long career the band has recorded a number of sessions for the BBC; in August 1985 they recorded their first studio session for BBC Radio One’s Friday Rock Show (their first session since 1972). The session saw a band line-up featuring Brock (vocals, guitar, synthesiser), Huw Lloyd Langton (lead guitar, vocals), Harvey Bainbridge (keyboards, vocals), Alan Davey (bass, vocals) and Danny Thompson (drums). The following year Hawkwind headlined the Reading Festival and 60 minutes of the highlights of their powerful set were recorded by the BBC and broadcast on the Friday Rock Show.

In May ’88, a concert at the Hammersmith Odeon (part of the tour to promote the album ‘The Xenon Codex’) was recorded for the BBC’s In Concert and saw the band in fine form once again.

In July ’95, Hawkwind returned to the BBC studios in London’s Maida Vale to record a session for The Mark Radcliffe Show, this time featuring a line up of Brock (vocals, guitar, synthesiser), Davey (bass, vocals, synthesiser), Ron Tree (Vocals) and Richard Chadwick (drums).

This 3CD set features all of these live recordings and sessions, newly remastered, with the 1988 In Concert performance and the 1985 and 1995 Maida Vale studio sessions appearing on CD for the first time, making ‘Dreamworkers of Time – The BBC Recordings 1985-1995’ an essential release.

Great turned to not so great
My Doberman (80 pounds in 7 months) puppy absolutely loved this ball. He loves anything noise making so this ball was perfect. Unfortunately, about 2 hours of nonstop play the cover was falling apart. There was no saving in. My pup is rough on toys and this one couldn’t handle it. I let him play without the cover for a little bit but the plastic is VERY hard. I’m not sure what type of plastic it is, but it’s very hard, no your average plastic. It was clunking around and banging into everything possible. I would love to give it more stars as it might have been perfect for other dogs, or maybe I just got a dud. But having to take the ball away from him was almost heart breaking. Those sad puppy dog ever and him looking everywhere for it. Barking nonstop because, well he want his ball….and being a puppy he is still learning. Had the cover held up for even 24 hours it would have been great. So I have a sad puppy and a lighter pocketbook. It was fun while it lasted.

Lasted less than a week.
Size: Small Size
This ball was delivered on March 7. It was fun while it lasted, but Today, less than one week later, the squeaker which was the unique fun part of this ball, is dead. The ball is still intact, the soft cover still on it, so our corgi never got to the squeaker - it just stopped making sound. Given the point of this ball is to engage a dog to chase after like it was squealing prey, the death of the squeaker is very disappointing.

Glow in the dark dog ball
If u shine a bright light on these balls they glow for 15 min. My dog has a double coat and I live in fl so I play outside at night and this glow ball fits the bill. Lots of fun. The ball is made well and so far has survived the jaws of my king shepherd. Im happy with my purchase and have also purchased them for family and friends

Glowing Orbs can be fun.
My dog loves these balls. He can’t break them, which is hilarious. The fact that they glow and double as a cognitive toy when you hide treats inside is a huge bonus. My dog is literally darker than the night. We leave the ball near a lamp for 10–15 minutes, then take it outside and throw it. Watching a pitch-black blur sprint at full speed and suddenly seeing a glowing orb bouncing through the night is unreal. Great toy. Highly recommend.
