Vicissitude is Maps' latest triumph-showcasing Chapman's spoils from his continuous battle to dig deep, confront reality and conquer new musical territory. As with previous releases, Vicissitude was primarily recorded at Maps home in Northampton and was mixed by Ken Thomas (Sugarcubes, M83, Sigur Ros) and Jolyon Thomas. Vicissitude focuses, tightens and sharpens Maps' expansive sound. The album might have been born from a long period of self-contemplation, but maybe you do need a while to get simple answers to the difficult questions.

Good quality, but a few issues with the hidden mounts and levelness.

These are quite nice and also sturdy. Only complaint I have is that I bought a couple of these, and on one of them, only one of them, it was difficult to get the hidden mounts to go into the holes. I think it was probably a manufacturing defect thing. Also, on that particular one, it wasnt as level as the other. Not a show stopper, but if you need a perfectly level type of mounting situation, I would be careful here.
