Ascolana Olive Tree – Large Italian Table Olive with Delicate Flesh
The Ascolana Olive Tree is a vigorous, dense-canopied variety celebrated for its exceptionally large, light green fruit. Originating from Italy, this olive tree is ideal for table use thanks to its creamy, delicate flesh that comprises nearly 87% of the fruit. The tree’s upward growth habit and slightly drooping fruiting branches give it an elegant shape, while its strong resistance to cold, peacock spot, and olive fly makes it a resilient choice for growers. The Ascolana’s rich history and refined flavor profile make it a prized addition to any Mediterranean-style garden or orchard.
