The Hetzer was built on the Panzer 38(t) chassis with a well sloped 60mm frontal plate and 7. 5cm PaK 39 gun in a fixed casemate superstructure. Small, easy to conceal, and surprisingly capable, it became one of the most produced German armoured vehicles of the war.
