Deze wijn is zeer typsich voor de Meursault, met veel finesse, mineraliteit, weelderigheid en een goede lengte, maar toch niet te zwaar.

Over Domaine Michelot

Reeds 6 generaties lang is het domein eigendom van de familie Michelot. Het domein is nu meer dan 19 ha groot, inclusief een aantal prestigieuze 1er cru wijnen. Michelot kiest bewust voor het beperken van anti-ziektebehandelingen van de wijnstokken. Ze geven voorkeur aan een zorgvuldig gepland programma van ploegen om de grond gezond te houden. De oogst in de wijngaarden gebeurt door handmatige selectie van de beste druiven. Om hun onafhankelijkheid als teler en wijnmaker te behouden, maken ze ook geen deel uit van een georganiseerd systeem van organische wijnbouw.

Vinificatie

De druiventrossen worden licht gekneusd, waarna een koude schilinweking van 6-12 uur volgt. Alcoholische fermentatie in houten vaten, gevolgd door 100% malolactische gisting. Rijping in houten barriques (15% nieuw hout) gedurende 10-12 maanden. Hierna nog 5-6 maanden rijping sur lie" voor een garandeerde perfecte balans. "

Expositie De wijngaard is 1ha39a en ligt op ongeveer 220 meter boven het zeeniveau. Deze wijngaard is heel gezond, waardoor het perceel makkelijk honderd jaar kan worden. Expositie naar het zuiden, zuidoosten.
Leeftijd wijnstokken Het grote voordeel van dit perceel is dat het in de jaren 1930 beplant werd met wijnstokken. Dit zorgt voor een constant karakter en vooral voor gelijkaardige opbrengsten elk jaar, ongeacht het klimaat.

It's a well packaged item including a simple tool set and a clear instruction. No smell. I put it together just by myself in about 15-20 minutes without any problems. The base is solid pieces of metal, and it stands very sturdy. It's also light enough for me to move it around in my office to serve different purposes. I like the color and the quality of the fabric. It blends in with my office space perfectly. I needed it as a partition between my desk and the door, and the background for my video conference call. Surprisingly, it can also deflect the air coming down from the AC vent behind my desk. I didn't expect it to 100% soundproofing (not its purpose), but I feel it did absorb some humming sound from my mini fridge behind my desk. Sturdy metal for free-standing, yet pretty light weight for easy assemble and to move around. Keeping it beside my desk to separate lounging and work area, and I could move it easily if I want a conference-call backdrop. I can tell some difference in the sound absorption, as my all-in-one space (kitchen, dining, work, living) area can sound loud at times, it does provide some damping effect. But I must say for the price I was expecting more. More solidity and weight. More privacy. It's just not very big for the price paid. A good price for two panels but this was just a single.

There's a bunch of good things about this product. -It's a nice size -There are great color options, went with Nocturne and no regrets with that -It's sturdy with a good base -Offers a bit of sound deadening The biggest drawback of this product is the cost.
