The LIVE Electrical SPV340 3-Pole Type 2 DC Surge Protection Device (SPD) provides advanced protection for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and other DC power installations against transient overvoltages caused by lightning or switching surges. Engineered for up to 1000VDC operation, it ensures consistent performance and safety in demanding electrical environments.
Constructed using high-quality, weather-resistant materials and equipped with high-pressure sensors for fault detection, the SPV340 is built for durability and reliability. Its plug-in protection module enables quick installation and maintenance, while the integrated thermal disconnector provides clear fault indication to prevent system damage. Fully compliant with IEC/EN 61643-31 and BS EN 61643-31, this SPD offers fast, effective surge protection with response times under 25 nanoseconds.
