"Forgotten God for kids". A timeless parable for children from best-selling author Francis Chan.

The villagers loved the big, red tractor. It helped them grow enough food to get them through the year. But it was hard to use, and it didn't work very well. Even with everyone helping to push and pull the tractor, they couldn't get much done. Everyone believed that was just how things were. That is, until Farmer Dave discovered a long-lost book in a dusty attic. Could it really change everything? Farmer Dave thinks so. But the other villagers aren't so sure.

The Big Red Tractor and His Little Village is a contemporary parable sharing a timeless truth: God has a special purpose for you and you can fulfill it through the help of his Spirit. It's a powerful lesson perfectly told for little hearts.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Francis Chan is the bestselling author of Crazy Love, Forgotten God, Erasing Hell, Multiply, and You and Me Forever. He is currently a pastor of We Are Church, a house church network that is planting churches in Northern California. Francis and his wife of twenty-five years, Lisa, have seven children and one beautiful granddaughter.

REVIEWS:

This book really shows the importance of the Bible and the Holy Spirit.

"Did you know that you are like the big red tractor? God made you, and He knows just how you work best. He wrote a book full of truth that you can read to help you know how to live too. The Bible tells us that if we try to do thing on our own, we won't accomplish much. But if we trust in Jesus, God gives us the Holy Spirit so we'll have a new power: the power to love others and tell them about God"

In the story people push a tractor to plow their fields and they are only able to make enough food for their village. It takes a very long time. Then a farmer finds an instruction manual to fix the tractor to run. He reads it, but no one believes him. The farmer fixes the tractor and they are able to make enough food to share with villages in need. They become the most generous village any where. They travel around telling people their secret to making enough food.
-Daniel Barrett

This book is special in its ability to present a complex Biblical concept in a whimsical and understandable way for even young children. Francis Chan has demonstrated a unique ability to present challenging information in a comprehensive fashion for adults in his nonfiction books and he does the same for children with this book. There are several parallels between this book and Forgotten God.

Nice shirt for the price
Color: White, Size: Large
Good quality shirt, especially for the price. Drapes nicely, almost a painterly feel with the fabric. Works across the wardrobe spectrum, pairing well with slacks in a business setting or with chinos for a more casual look.

Great Fit and Price While Updating My Wardrobe
Color: Shortbread, Size: Large
As I’ve been getting fitter, my old clothes started looking too baggy, so I needed something that fit better without breaking the bank. This COOFANDY chambray shirt turned out to be exactly what I was looking for—lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and stylish enough for casual or dressy wear. The fabric feels soft and breathable, and it pairs easily with jeans or slacks. Since I’m still losing weight, I didn’t want to overspend on clothes I may size out of soon, and these hit the sweet spot for both quality and affordability.
